My goal

At Veterans Repair Workshop, I am committed to providing a local repair service to the general public.   Money raised will go to fund services that an unemployed veteran and their family is need of. For example a loan vehicle to attend job interviews or a refurbished kitchen appliance.

The veterans repair workshop is also for veterans who want to and are unable to do a project of their own due to either lack of space or funding.  These projects will give the veteran a chance to regain their self pride and self worth.  A lot of veterans lose these when they leave the services.

Services I can offer

The Veterans Repair Workshop is offering minor repairs to vehicles and to some selected kitchen appliances and any other item that might need a repair.  These repairs will be chargeable with profits used to offer the services the veterans and their families are in need of.  As a multi skilled Royal Navy veteran, there isn't much I can't repair.

About me

I joined the Royal Navy in 1996 and I served in the Fleet Air Arm maintaining and repairing aircraft and the support equipment for the aircraft.  I then joined the ships company of HMS Illustrious in the Air Department workshops repairing and maintaining some of the equipment for the aircraft as well as the support equipment.  As part of the ships company I also helped maintain the ship and the emergency equipment on board.

After the past twenty years in the Asbestos industry as an consultant and various managerial roles, I am getting back into Mechanical Engineering.  Whilst doing this, I am hoping to provide a service to the general public but also to other veterans who might need help in life in general.
